Throughout the Spring Season, we will continue having soup and snacks provided as an opportunity to share a meal as we settle into our time together. Donations are welcome but not required.

Community Conversations is a way to build community through conversation. Coming together as a community is something we highly value at Satya. While each of us leads lives across a diverse array of experiences, beliefs, and backgrounds, the practice of yoga is what unites us all – building a greater connection with ourselves, and each other.

Community Conversations is a space where members of the Satya community – and beyond – continue the unifying practice of yoga through purposeful, facilitated conversations. Much like the physical practice of yoga asana (poses), the practice of intentional conversation is a practice of connection and awareness. As we exercise our capacity for purposeful and patient communication, we gain a greater understanding of ourselves and others, build a stronger sense of community, and carry compassion forward into the rest of our lives.

This practice integrates fundamental tenets of yoga philosophy, namely ahimsa (nonviolence) and satya (truth), while using the framework of Community Building Circles (CBCs) to facilitate the intentional time together. In each 90-minute gathering, Madison will guide participants through thoughtfully prepared questions that center around a particular theme, to which all participants have the opportunity to respond. In order to ensure a respectful space for all, conversations follow community-established guidelines. Read more about these down below.

CURRENT THEME THROUGHOUT SPRING 2026: Growing Together

The evolution of the self is an arduous journey, full of both challenges and possibilities. Whether we are facing a familiar hurdle in an ongoing cycle of personal difficulty, or we are presented with an opportunity to be courageous in the face of something new, each of us is engaged with the ongoing process of becoming. This process is ever-unfolding, and demands our participation every step of the way. Yet in this process of becoming we are never alone. As we embark on a journey into the unknown self, our evolution is sparked, supported, or otherwise influenced by those around us. In this season of spring, Community Conversations will explore the ways in which we see ourselves and each other grow, offering opportunities for us to connect with the divine art of becoming whoever we are meant to be, together.

  • Preparing for Labor & Birth
    with Summer Greenless
    Paquets disponibles :
    50,00 $One-Day Workshop (2026-06-27)

Join Summer for a truly unique childbirth preparation workshop—one that feels more like a deeply connected date night than another task. With 12 years as a doula and nearly 30 years in maternity massage and yoga, I’ve refined this experience to give couples more than information—we create calm, joy, and empowerment.

In this two-hour workshop, partners will gain hands-on tools—massage techniques, comforting touch, and mindful breathwork—that reduce labor pain and stress while enhancing love and bonding. We’ll delve into the nervous system, foster connection through partner yoga, and equip you both with confidence to navigate birth as a team. What sets this apart isn’t just the skills—it’s the relief, the laughter, and the profound closeness couples leave with. Time and again, partners walk out feeling lighter, more united, and truly ready. Prepare for birth not just with knowledge, but with love, joy, and lasting connection. The essential tools that partners will become equipped with for supporting the birthing mother are applicable in every birth setting; hospital, home, and birth center.

CONNECTION TO YOURSELF • CONNECTION TO OTHERS • CONNECTION TO THE WORLD AROUND YOU

Did you know that honey bees dance to communicate with one another? Join us to learn about the science and magic of these important pollinators. From the social structure of the honey and bumble to the solitary nature of wild hole-nesting bees — for whom we will build a bee hotel — bees are fascinating creatures! We’ll work creatively with bees wax to engage the senses and explore the dance of the honey bees, along with themes of communication, connection, cooperation, and kinship, through story and movement.

We will use bees as metaphor to introduce and explore mindfulness meditation concepts in a kid-friendly way. Incorporating skills of setting seeds of intentions, sharing with and understanding others, pausing to practice patience, and taking appropriate action, we'll find deeper connection with ourselves and with each other.

Please bring a lunch and water bottle.
